WOMEN TALES

Life gave them a hit,

Now strife is a daily pit

They can’t just jump it.

They face it and are still called weak,

Many are mocked, some are scorned

But still they tell their stories,

Of how they were deceived,

Of how they had to stay and forgive,

Society told them – Don’t leave!

Its honorable to hold on and stay

From worse to worst – endure all!

That is the way it's done so hold on,

It will change, He will change.

This tale is nothing new, yet -

They keep on and pass on

Who will listen to their tales,

Please listen to their fears,

They want to keep their homes,

They want to keep their own,

But at the end some lose their lives,

Others lose their self-esteem,

Some their dignity still;

The surviving old women of yesterday,

Tell the unlucky women of today,

The rules and how to bear all till the end,

Will all the unlucky women of today,

Survive this evil till tomorrow?

For how long?!

To what extent?!

Let’s listen to the women's tales

Let’s end their silent and hiding pain.
