Dear diary,

I'm all smiles as I engage you again

You don't have to sing Lagbaja's 'feyin e' before I show you my thirty two

The joy within....even a horse won't stumble inside me

Hmmm... I see you can't wait to know what it is

Don't let me stress your brain further

The headline is: FIFA world cup begins

Nigeria and four other countries represent Africa in the Mundial

Do you know why I'm happy about this?

It's because of the ' Unity ' the magic that football brings

Nigeria; a place with diverse ethnic groups

Different cultures yet we are uniquely unique

One of those things that keep us together is the round leather game

From Gusau to the cold city of Jos down to Ilorin

We chants for the ' Super Eagles'

A country ravaged by problems at all fronts

I'm glad our song will be "Ko Ni si problem o"

Trying to remix a hit from the street.

I see nomadic herdsmen screaming 'up naija' in their pastures;

Aba boys thronging the city of Onitsha in their green and white vests;

Sambisa forest becoming one of the viewing centres as it's occupants display the green and white flag;

Thousands of worshippers screaming "it's a goal" rather than Amen;

Traffic city of Lagos becomes free as road users are emptied into various viewing centres;

Mesuya (barbecue seller) pledged to serve suya round as Ahmed Musa scores the winning goal against the Argentines;

What a beauty to behold in the coming days;

No tension .... United we stand
