NEW YEAR, NEW SYSTEM
Hey diary,
There is this particular quote which says “insanity
is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”.
Yes, this statement is true. Thomas Edison was said to have tried one thousand
times to finally invent a light bulb yet he didn’t get that done using the same
method I believed. I guessed the phrase
‘New Year, New system’ was adopted so as to try things in different ways in
order to get different results.
One of the
things I learnt from my uncle was him telling me severally “you have to see
things in different perspectives even if the first sight looks good”. You might
have tried out certain opportunities but they are not yielding the results you
expect. Why not try out another system?
As a salesman, things might be hard but why not try
the impossible option to get your prospects to be customers? As an
undergraduate trying all your best to pass that hard course, why not prepare in
another dimension? As a politician, you might have failed to get that position
of power, why not use another tactics to get the support you want? If your
attempt in mobilizing is yielding little result, you can try a more rigid or
advanced approach. A part of the lyrics of an Afro pop-act; Adekunle Gold goes
thus; “I fit change my style for you”. Why not change your style to get that
dream car, job, woman or man?! Well, if you have determined to achieve whatever
you’ve desired for the New Year, try to change the system that hasn’t worked in
the past year. Try a different approach and you will have no reproach.
It’s a New
Year and I’m also trying a new system. If hard work must pay, your system must
come to play. I’m not trying many things at the same time but doing the things
I know how to do very well in a different way. Let's get things working again
by trying different means. When action is added, I see the cliché ‘New Year,
New system’ becoming ‘New Year, New System, and New Achievement’.
Bring it on! bring it on!! again I say bring it on!!!
We are conquering and breaking limits this year.
See you again readers.
