Hi 🙋 diary,

My pen has been sweating

To have a date again with writing

My love, today is all about story

Listen and keep your heads up like a storey.

Once upon a time in ages past,

Man was the number one cast

Movie 🎬 of life...its soap opera

Blockbuster? Yes, so expensive as a certain Oprah.

He creates them all

Then ordered we recreate not small

Daily he got the charge,

From his left ear it all discharge

His brain may store facts

What he loses is more than fat

He became naked as a result of this,

Now he knew he was an empty disc

You know his problem? He couldn't write it down

He failed severally till he was laid down

Another man kicked it off in Mesopotamia

Now its soothing; ask Chimamanda

Writing began on stones, wooden tablets and scrolls

Now its laptops, ipads we all scroll.

Rhyming in verses I've always dared,

Poetic license as Niyi Osundare

"Write the vision down" he'll add your share

Shares like 'Man Booker' of Adichie

Niwco so creative as Wole Soyinka

We made it, so you can

Huh! Eyes getting dim slowly

Blackout! End of my story
