THE RANT

Arise O compatriots... 

Aren’t I one too?

I can never explain this feeling -

Is it dissatisfaction in my present condition? 

The need to do more and be more? 

To not be limited but be free; to pay my dues not just for accolades but for fulfilment. 

I want more but have been branded to be satisfied with nothing. 

Imagine even my local community is a no-go area; my mama tells me to get a job at the local school that will put food on my table as if food can quench my hunger. Start small dream big… now I’m truly done for.

Visions aren’t bright any more, no need to wear shades to gaze at the future now I have to gaze intently because it’s truly going dim.

Please mind my pessimism I have to rant (sure I'm no Lasisi) and be heard I refuse to be boxed and tagged I just want to be free to be me--- no stereotypes breaking the status quo. 

PLEASE ENCOURAGE THIS YOUTH
